Easy Lemon Garlic Greens

If you’re short on time, but still are trying to eat healthy, you’re going to love these Easy Lemon Garlic Greens!

Greens are the building blocks of optimizing digestions, maximizing nutrients, and detoxifying, and this recipe just happens to make your greens really delicious and so easy to make, that you’ll have no excuse not to add them into your routine!

One of my favorite strategies that I recommend to clients (and follow myself!) is to always keep a bunch of simply cooked greens on hand. That way, even if you’re crunched for time, simply heat some up, and pair them with anything to instantly make the meal more nutrient-dense!

 

 

Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch destemmed kale
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method

  1. Sautee chopped garlic in olive oil, over medium heat
  2. Add the kale and salt, and cook uncovered until the kale starts to crisp a little
  3. Add broccoli, and the juice of half a lemon, and cover until the broccoli is tender
  4. Give everything a good stir, and serve!
